Extreme Makeover: LibGuide Edition

Added subjects and tags to all public-facing guides; added resource icons to A-Z list and assets; created a template guide for internal use, a landing page, and hundreds of guides for current course offerings.

Topical creations include guides on: Intellectual Property, Legal Writing, and Free Legal Research Resources, as well as Reproductive Health, which is a collaboration of all four (4) of CWRU's libraries.

An introductory guide to environmental law resources geared toward law students.

Thesaurus

A normalized compilation of terms useful for transgender studies.

Grant Application

A grant application for the restoration and preservation of a mock university.

DIY Pop-Up Plan

A proposal for a pop-up makerspace with a minimal budget and a focus on environmentalism.

Collection Analysis

Analysis of Shaker Heights Public Library's 100s section, namely philosophy. Project data was limited due to then-current renovations to Adult Nonfiction.

Bookstore Website

A mock bookstore website created with HTML, CSS, JavaScript and PHP. Book attributes were retrieved using an API.

Lesson Plans

Two lesson plans on copyright issues—one geared toward university students about P2P file-sharing and another geared toward educators and librarians on Fair Use and the TEACH Act.

Retention Schedule

A schedule for retaining records and accompany memo proposing its importance.
